2010 NGA Alabama Natural Open Bodybuilding, Figure and Fitness Model Championships, Birmingham, AL, July 10 - Super Pro Qualifier: Results

They came from Ohio, Texas, Virginia, South Carolina, Kentucky, Tennessee, Georgia, Florida and Alabama, all outstanding men and women athletes who vied for Neils Andersen Sculptured trophies and NGA Pro Cards at Saturday's 2010 NGA Alabama Natural Open Bodybuilding, Figure and Fitness Model Championships - Super Pro Qualifier in Birmingham, Alabama.

The athletes were pleased with the setting, the pump up area, the treats, the show t-shirts and their 2010 NGA Alabama sports bags. The contest started on time and ran smoothly. It was a "competitor's show," run by competitors who knew what the athletes wanted and needed. All of the competitors said they would like to come back next year for the third annual NGA Alabama Natural Open Championships on July 9, 2011. Many said they would encourage their competitor friends to join them on stage. It was a fun show.

Pro Card eligible classes needed five or more competitors entered for the Open Division and three or more competitors entered for the Masters Division. NGA Pro Cards were awarded to seven athletes at this Super Pro Qualifier:

Amanda Sturgis of Tuscaloosa, Alabama won the Figure Tall Class and went on to capture the Open Figure Overall title. She is now an NGA Figure Pro.

Brad Kilpatrick of Hoover, Alabama took the Light Heavyweight title and won the Overall Championship. He is now an NGA Bodybuilding Pro.

Joel Preston of Elizabethtown, KY won the Men's Masters 40+ and the Masters Overall. He also won the Men's Open Heavyweight title and he now holds both an NGA Open Bodybuilding Pro Card and an NGA Masters Bodybuilding Pro Card,

Dave Weinstock of Davie, Florida captured the Master's 50+ crown and an NGA Masters Bodybuilding Pro Card.

Teresa Steel of Smyrna, TN is a "Tri-Fecta" winner, She took the Figure Novice title, the Fitrness Model crown and won her Masters Figure Pro Card by winning that Class.

John Hicks of Knoxville, TN is the winner of the Open Men's Lightweight Divison and new NGA Bodybuilding Pro.
